ASPIRE ACT ACHIEVE
A warm invitation is extended to parents of Year 6 children to join students and staff of Brookfield for our Open Day and Evening on Monday 1 October 2018 and allow you to hear our vision for the School.
We are pleased to celebrate another year of very good results with 84% and 82% of students achieving Grade 4 or above in Maths and English respectively and 77% of students achieving Grade 4 and above in English and Maths; 55% of students achieved a Grade 5 and above in both English and Maths. 30% of grades, across all subjects, were at the highest levels, Grades 7-9. The progress made by our students looks to be the best ever for Brookfield School. These pleasing results are reflective of our aspirational culture and the absolute commitment of students and staff alike, ensuring that students left Brookfield equipped and ready to approach the next stage of their education, training or employment with confidence. There is much to be proud of and to build upon as we begin a new school year.
Daytime Guided Tours (Parents)
Two tours will run from 9:00am to 10:15am and 11:30am to 12:45pm. Parents will be accompanied by student leaders and members of the Senior Leadership Team, giving you an excellent opportunity to ask questions. I will be available throughout the morning if you have specific questions of me.
To book a place on one of our tours please complete the on-line booking form which can be found here or alternatively please contact Mrs Shaw-Goodall (via Reception or email@example.com)
Open Evening 5:00-7:30pm (Parents and children)
Parents are also invited to attend one of two presentations (5:00-5:30pm or 7:00-7:30pm) where I will enjoy sharing with parents the core values of Brookfield and our priorities for the next 5 years.
At the same time as these presentations your children will be welcomed by our Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy and introduced to Brookfield through their eyes.
During the remainder of the evening families are able to participate in a range of interactive classroom activities, view exhibitions and talk to the students and staff of Brookfield. We hope that by the end of the event you will have a full understanding of what we offer and more importantly, a confidence in our unrelenting commitment to the happiness and future success of your child.
There is no requirement to book a place, please just attend at a chosen time.
If your son/daughter does not attend one of our partner primary schools, or was unable to visit Brookfield in the Summer Term for our Year 5 Taster Days, please contact Miss Bennett (firstname.lastname@example.org ) to arrange a day visit later this term.
We hope that, following the Open Day, Brookfield will be your first choice school. If you would like to know more, or would like to visit the school again, please contact Mrs Bagley, my Personal Assistant to make an appointment (via Reception or email@example.com)
