GCSE Results Day – Thursday 20 August 2026
BackDear Year 11 Students, Parents, and Carers
Congratulations on completing your GCSEs!
These past few months have required dedication, resilience, and no doubt a few late nights — and you should all feel incredibly proud of reaching this important milestone.
We’re looking forward to celebrating your achievements with you on GCSE Results Day – Thursday 20 August 2026. Below are the arrangements for collecting your results.
Collecting Results in Person
Students who would like to collect their results in person — and perhaps enjoy an ice cream and catch up with some familiar faces — are warmly invited to attend between 10:00am and 11:00am.
Please go to the Drama Block, where results will be available at tables arranged alphabetically by surname. Parents and relatives are welcome to accompany you.
Authorising Someone Else to Collect Results
If a parent or relative will be collecting results on a student’s behalf, we must receive a signed note from the student by Monday 17 August. The note should:
-
Clearly name the person collecting the results
-
State their relationship to the student
On results day, the named person must bring photo ID for verification.
Receiving Results Online
Students’ results will also be uploaded to their EduLink account around midday on results day.
Please ensure students still have access to their EduLink app — results will not appear on the parent app.
Uncollected Results
Any results not collected in person will be posted home on the same day and should arrive the following morning.
GCSE Certificates
The official GCSE certificates arrive in November. We hope to present these formally at our Annual Presentation Evening later that month. Further details will follow in due course.
Whether you’re feeling excited, nervous, or somewhere in between, please remember: we’re here to support you. Staff will be available on results day to answer any questions and help you with your next steps.
In the meantime, take the opportunity to relax, recharge, and celebrate this fantastic achievement. If you have any questions ahead of results day, please contact Mrs Barfoot at s.barfoot@brookfield.hants.sch.uk.
Best wishes
Mr Pease and all the Brookfield staff
