Years 7 & 8 Curriculum

• A broad and balanced curriculum, including technology subjects and creative and performing arts subjects, as well as all of the English Baccalaureate subjects.
• At the end of Year 7, should a student show great aptitude in foreign languages and have put lots of effort into their first language, they will be offered to take up a 2nd language in Year 8 between French, Spanish or German.

Religious Education (RE) Right to Withdraw

Parents/carers have the right to withdraw their children from Religious Education (RE). This request can be wholly or partly. Requests for withdrawal should be put in writing and addressed to the Headteacher. Within the request, Parents/carers are required to outline the reasons for wishing to withdraw their child. Once your request has been received, we will contact you to discuss our RE curriculum with you, alongside your concerns. This is to enable parents and carers to make an informed decision.
