You are responsible for bringing the correct equipment to lessons

You will need:

  • Paper copy of timetable
  • Coloured pencils
  • Eraser
  • Glue Stick
  • Green pen
  • Highlighter
  • Pair of Compasses
  • Pencil Case (transparent for all exams)
  • Pens and pencils
  • Protractor
  • Ruler (ideally 30 cm)
  • White board pen
  • Scientific Calculator (Casio fx-GTCW) Calculator
  • Sharpener
  • Water Bottle (recommended)

 

All of these items are available from the Student Resource Shop, which students can purchase before school (8.10am-8.25am):

These items are also available to order on-line via Scopay. Please print off your “Internet Payment Invoice” email from scopay.com for your son/daughter to bring to the Student Resource Shop to exchange for items ordered.

School bags should be of a durable material, the size of which should be able to fit an A4 folder inside and be easy to carry around. 

We strongly advise that no personal electronic equipment or other high value items should be brought into school. Brookfield School is unable to take responsibility for loss or damage to these items.

To support a calm, focused and positive learning environment, mobile phones must not be used or visible anywhere on the school site from the time students arrive until 4.00pm, including during breaktimes, lunchtimes and co-curricular activities. If a student needs to contact home during the school day, a member of staff will arrange supervised contact where appropriate. Mobile phone use on educational visits and sporting fixtures will be at the discretion of the trip or fixture leader, but phones must never be used on the school site before 4.00pm. It is compulsory for all students cycling to and from school to wear a cycle helmet and have a working braking system on their bicycle​. Students who fail to adhere to the expectations on safe cycling will be sanctioned via detentions or if a repeated offence have their bicycle confiscated with parents asked to collect it.
