Salary: Grade C £25,186 (Actual Salary £11,645)
Hours: 20 (worked over 5 days, hours to be within 8am - 3pm)
Contract type: Permanent
Reporting to: Employee Support Manager
This role will have overall responsibility for the administration of all in year and main round admissions and be the main point of contact for parents and other stakeholders.
Department Overview
We have a large team of support staff within the school from our Admin team to Science techs.
The administration team work across the school providing a wide and varied range of admin in addition to running a school resource shop. This role sits within a larger team of 16, and will be based with in the House Leader office with 2 other administrators.
The Team work closely together to ensure a seamless administration service for the school and effective communication to parents.
You will be joining a fun, friendly and supportive team to keep the school running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilites
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Be first point of contact, both externally and internally, for all queries in relation to school admissions
- Processing all In-Year admission applications in line with the school admission policy including,
- Liaising with house leader team to organise parental meetings for new students
- Contacting previous school to collect data
- Collecting and processing data from parent/carers
- Organising and undertaking schools tours with parents/carers
- Co-ordinating with stakeholders in school to ensure a seamless admission for new students
- Processing all Main Round admission applications including,
- Dealing with parental queries
- Supporting with induction days for upcoming student cohort
- Collecting and collating data for parents/carers
- Liaising with local schools to collect student data
- Supporting with parental events for upcoming cohort
- Maintaining admission waiting lists to ensure accuracy
- Working with Employee Support Manager on complex admission cases and admission appeal data
- Manage the school admission mailbox
- Complete admissions filing incl bulk filing at the end of each academic year as well as ensuring files are received and sent between schools as students arrive and leave
